“SpoutControls” is a programmer aid to develop a controlled Spout Sender that will react to controls specific to the application. Examples for Openframeworks, Cinder and Processing can be used as a guide for developing others. The “SpoutController” FreeframeGL plugin adapts it’s user interface to that of the Sender so that you can forget about the sender app itself. Read the Documentation. Please note that with recent updates to FreeframeGL by Resolume, plugins developed for FreeframeGL 1.5 and 1.6 are no longer compatible with Resolume 7. This includes plugins the SpoutController plugin. However, earlier versions of Resolume 6.xx are still suitable as well as other FreeframeGL hosts.
“Spout to NDI” is a set of programs that allow Spout senders and receivers to share video, not only with each other but also by way of a network using the NewTek NDI (“Network Device Interface”) protocol version 3.7. As well as the converter programs, there are 32 and 64 bit modules developed specifically for Magic Music Visuals for sending to and receiving from NDI. Read the Documentation.
