This thread is to help users (and Devs) get a handle on what video cards support the full power of Spout.
I suggest listing your cards model, and CPU details (as this applies to optimus) and whether you have full support, memory sharing only, or no support.

for example: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M (with optimus), cpu i7 (no onboard gpu) : FULL SUPPORT

@zeal, I wonder what cpu your machine has. Does it have the integrated intel gpu?
For the second machine.. similar question?

Nvidia Geforce GTX 780M / Intel Core i7-4700MQ with Intel HD Graphics 4600 -> Memory Share Only
Will test it on a second ATI videocard laptop later, i was thinking full support would work only on Nvidia videocard..

You might need to upgrade the driver for the ATI card. Support for the interop functions is relatively recent.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 (1GB)
    Intel Core i7 Q720 1.6GHz (8GB)
    Windows Professional 7 x64 (SP1)

    Spout Sender – 32bit
    Compatible hardware
    NV_DX_interop extensions supported
    Interop load successful
    Texture sharing mode available

Processing to Resolume 4.1.9 (FFGL SpoutReceiver) works
SpoutPanel (in Resolume) doesn’t seem to pop up, but typing the sender name worked

    Update :
I’ve tested Spout on my Microsoft Surface pro 2 tablet and my monster laptop MSI GT60 2OD :

    Microsoft Surface pro 2 (Win 8.1 x64)
    Intel HD4400 integrated graphics.

    Compatible hardware
    NV_DX_interop extensions supported
    Interop load successful
    Texture sharing mode available
    FBO blit available

Spout 32 : works in both mode
Spour 64 : sender crashes / memoryshare is working fine

    MSI GT60-2OD (Win 8.1 x64)
    nVidia GTX 780M / Optimus

Running spout on the nVidia GTX780 :
    Spout Sender – 32bit
    Compatible hardware
    NV_DX_interop extensions supported
    Interop load successful
    Texture sharing mode available
    FBO blit available

–> black screen on the receiver
–> makes the host software crash in FFGL mode (SpoutSender) black screen with SpoutReceiver FFGL (Tested in Resolume and Visution Mapio2 pro)
–> working fine with memoryshare mode

    Spout Sender – 64bit
    –> Crashes at startup 🙁
–> working fine with memoryshare mode

Running Spout on the Integrated Intel HD graphics :

–> Everything is working fine in 32 bits. (with FFGL, host software must run on the Intel graphics too, if not : crashes)
–> Sender crashes in 64 bits
–> memory share is working fine in both 32 & 64 bits

    Conclusion :
Spout works better with Inteh HD4xxx graphics than with Nvidia GTX780M !!! But the performances are suffering with FFGL because running on a poor graphic system (20 fps loss on resolume when I activate SpoutSender plugin)
